Good looking young crop of talent in KC. There's no denying this team is in the process of emerging from a long slumber. That defense still needs to prove itself too... Same with that O-Line. Got to admit, I'm a little envious of some of those shiny new engines you guys got over there in KC - Charles, Berry, McCluster... oh my...
ReplyDeletemccluster is the pick ! ive even seen him on some fantrasy teams . as far as charles i drafted him to two of my teams and think he has a 1000 plus yds 6+ td season at hand !
ReplyDeletei didnt mean too leave out berry , with him i beleive he should be an automatic lead on kc big d- .
ReplyDeletejedunk3... I think Charles will be good for 10+ tds. I'm kinda surprised he isn't ranked higher on a lot of FF draft boards. Maybe it's the questions surrounding the O-Line and the fact he's on everyone's radars now...
ReplyDeletedino its was nice cause i was alble too focus on wr and qb and stil get what i think to be a quality back in charles .
ReplyDeletedino i went into my dashboard and published a post but its not on the home page ?? can you help ??
ReplyDeleteTrue. I'm happy we got berry but I think McCluster is really going to be the guy that shocks everyone. He runs just like Charles but faster. I don't think the chiefs are going to be an elite team this year but they will be middle of the road and after 3 years of crap I'll gladly accept that. Our defense has got a bad wrap because last season they were on the field 80% of the whole game. I'm going to take a wait and see on just how the react to the new Offense and Crennal calling the defense. We won't have the secondary to blame because that is stacked. Also I think that Cassel better produce this year. The excuse of the o~line is getting old and if he isn't what the Chiefs thought he was it will stick out like a sore thumb this upcoming season.

ReplyDeleteha you guys definitely killed it in the draft...but i was just relieved you guys passed on golden tate! i think he was THE MOST underrated WR in this years draft
ReplyDeletetate i thought would have gone higher , however i get the feeling in a weis run offence mccluster is going to shine . on berry the more i here about the stud the more cant wait to see him smack some victems his d , as long as its not aginst the raiders! lol !
ReplyDeletei still think tate was one of the best, if no the best wr in the draft. im sure dez bryant will have a good rookie season with romo but tate will become a stud in the nfl. im rooting for him to take o rookie of the year

ReplyDeleteDude I really thought that would have been our second pick. I loved Tate and thought he would be just what the chiefs needed. But after thinking about it and learning a little more about McCluster I realized he is more what we needed. Fast, elusive, good hands, a perfect slot guy. Bowe has taken this off season more serious than ever before. Herm Edwards was way to soft and Haley is just the opposite. I think that taking McCluster is and was the best way to address the need in KC for that Wes welker type player that can be the hot route guy and give Cassel that dump off option. You have to look at it like this...Jones and Charles in the back field, Teams have to account for them. Bowe and chambers are two very capable wide outs that can make plays. McCluster is a Jamaal Charles only faster and a receiver..Teams will have to keep an eye on him. That's a lot of things to keep an eye on and if Cassel has the talent there will be guys open. So I was kind of disappointed at first that we didn't get Tate, but, after further review I can see why we didn't.
ReplyDeletebowe , chambers and mccluster in the slot , your backs , and the very underated cassell this looks to be a very dangerous offence ! yea i said cassell is underated , just give wies some time and this kid will be at least solid ! brother it sure looks like the division might get back to real nasty soon !! YOU KNOW , THE WILD , WILD WEST !
ReplyDeleteI don't know about underrated but I will accept unproven. He showed a flash of competence with New England so he has got a pass because of our overall team. Now that he has a few things to work with he will either excel or fall flat on his face. I know he is a great worker and his mind is in the right place. He is involved with the community and is all low risk of being caught with codiene or shooting someone. So I'm greatful.
ReplyDeleteunproven is probably the better term, and your right he willeither excell or fall . a bellecheck qb i gotta root for !
ReplyDeletethe qb you have i believe his name is croyle ,if he could stay healthy i beleive he would be a solid starter !
