Ok, this quote did not come from the AFC West, but ESPN Dallas on the recent brewhaha between Dez Bryant and Roy Williams regarding the "tradition" of a rookie carrying the veteran's shoulder pads after practice. After today's practice, here is Dez's response:
"I didn't know nothing about no tradition"
In the comments, the following was posted:
"Apparently he doesn't not know nothing about the English language either."
I think someone needs to check and see what classes Dez attended at Oklahoma State because I do not think he saw the inside of an English class during his time there.
sounds like serious back peddle bull crap ! but hey everyone gets one diva like slip in the pros right !! the smart ones just dont use it ! a college player who didnt realy attend classes wouldnt surprise me either . young man goes to oak st and claims he dont no nuffin bout tradition !?? tiny lol here ! funny post ,thanks !
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on not knowing about tradition. It just amazed me that Dez talks like this all the time. It reflects such a lack of education but I think it is laziness since these NFL players have to learn all of the plays, terminologies, etc. It's just sad to see.
